SANTA CLARITA, CA – An early-morning rollover accident in the Newhall area led to the death of one person yesterday, according to the Santa Clarita Valley News.
The single-vehicle accident occurred at Railroad Avenue and 5th Street at about 3 a.m. when a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed rolled over and trapped the driver inside.
The male driver, described as in his 30s, died at the scene. Authorities have not publicly identified him at this time.
The driver was the only one inside the vehicle when it crashed.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
