Man facing charges after Westlake hit-and-run crash kills 2 boys

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA – Two boys died after being struck by a suspected street racer who then fled the scene in Westlake Village last night, according to NBC Los Angeles.

The accident happened near Saddle Mountain and Triunfo Canyon Roads a little after 7 p.m. when two children, one of whom was possibly on a scooter, were struck by a vehicle.

The driver fled the scene.

However, a man, 57, has been taken into police custody in connection with the crash and is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter.
